Heating and ventilation are activated by a thermal sensor programmed to start at certain temperatures. The heating system maintains above-zero temperatures in the cabinet by protecting the AED when outside temperatures drop to -20 °C.
The ventilation system allows heat to escape from the cabinet housing the AED when outside temperatures are high.
Red LED indicators automatically signal an anomaly when the detected temperatures exceed the prescribed limits.
The AIVIA 200TA is a freely opening, sealed cabinet. This makes the AED available to the public for first aid intervention.
Opening the lid of the AIVIA 200TA cabinet causes the flashing red LEDs and the audible alarm (103dB) to switch on automatically.
In the event of low external brightness, the AIVIA 200TA has its own automatic lighting triggered by the twilight sensor to be more easily located.
For safety reasons, the device has a 24 V direct current power supply.
This design feature allows the AIVIA 200TA to be placed outside buildings . The perfectly airtight cabinet effectively protects against dust, rain, cold, rust, heat, humidity and mould growth.
The AIVIA 200TA can be wall-mounted or fixed to dedicated pedestals and totems.
